The pictures do these no justice. The lows are definitely there. They look way better than I expected, MUCH better than others I have seen and they are fully sealed and very durable for sure. so remember when ordering up speaker cable to purchase the proper gauge for your speakers. Each speaker has a 3' pigtail cable coming out that is sealed to the enclosure, so make sure you have wire nuts or some other means of splicing it to the speaker cable.Coming from someone who is extremely picky, I must say, they have honestly exceeded my expectations in both appearance and sound quality. I decided to go for these because they are 2-way and at the time, they were only $48 for the pair plus shipping which you just couldn't beat. I love these speakers, they sound MUCH better than many others out there and are very high quality. speaker cable gauge plays a HUGE factor in your low end response over long runs.
I almost wish I would have gone for 14AWG but for only 75' per speaker, I 16 gauge is fine. you aren't overwhelmed with mids, you get a good sense of clean sound with way better than expected punch from the low end.One thing to point out. If you are anything over 100 which is a lot easier than you think when running cable, definitely go with 14AWG, no questions asked. The 2-way is a must. they look way better and definitely much more natural than any of these stock and customer images.First impressions, packaging was great, speakers were encased completely in styrofoam separated from each other and each in it's own plastic bag. I ran these with 16AWG cable that is in total ~75' or so away from my amp and I wouldn't go ANYTHING smaller than that.
The sound quality is much better than I expected. the highs are crisp and not over-powering, overall a very smooth sound. If you are between 25-50' away from your receiver/amp, you can probably get away with 18AWG, but I wouldn't recommend it. If you care at all about the low end response with any speakers, especially long cable runs like outside speakers, make sure to get the proper gauge cable for the distance.
For the price and size, these sound awesome. Not all that realistic looking, but you can't even see them in my folks garden or tell where the sound is coming from. They loved them. Thank you.
speakers look and sound great.wish there were other color options like sandstone,granite, charcoal so i could mix them up a little.other than that an excellent product.
I didn't expect a whole lot when I installed these outside, but was pleasantly surprised. They have a much better bass response than I expected. Certainly not great stereo sound, but for the price, they are certainly worth the money. Very satisfied.
The speakers work fine for bringing music to your patio, deck or garden. There are far more expensive options available, but unless you are an advanced audiophile, these will do the job, just fine. Simple to hook up, with ample cable to make the connection, buy some waterproof wire connectors and (if you choose - direct burial stereo cable), place your speakers, then sit back, relax listen to the music - enjoy.
